Defensive breakdowns were clearly a problem, and it didn’t help that the goalie, Hulksmash8649, had a tough night, letting in 7 while only stopping 17 shots.
For the Elite, yRykerr was on fire, racking up 3 goals and 2 assists, showing no mercy on the ice. Gxalie also contributed to the dominant performance with a solid point total of 4 thanks to 1 goal and 3 assists. Sbrangy was another key player, lighting the lamp 2 times himself, while TrashDav handed out 4 assists, proving to be the playmaker the team needed.
The penalties were even — both teams each had 4 PIMs, but that didn’t matter when the Elite were so lethal. The Snipers will need to regroup and figure things out, whereas the Elite are riding high after a night to remember!
